Ready to get started?  Dust off the password notebook. Pull out your laptop and log into Facebook.  I’m going to give you 5 Tips to BOOST your FACEBOOK Following.  Let’s do this!!

5 Tips to BOOST your Facebook Following

  1. Find and like FIVE (5) businesses or people that you consider an inspiration to your business.  Someone or company that you already keep tabs on but have yet to follow.
  2. Post TWO (2) images this week.  Images could include a product you sell.  It can be an image of a quote that you have hanging at your desk to inspire your followers.  We live in a visual world.  Posts that include images on average receive more views.
  3. Share a single post of a business you follow to your business page.  Make sure it is relevant to YOUR brand.  It is important to engage others in your industry or niche.
  4.  Promote your Facebook page on your OTHER social media accounts.  Are you on Twitter?  GREAT!  Tweet: “Our business is also on Facebook!  Follow us: (insert the link to your Facebook page here).
  5.  Be consistent.  Pick one thing you can do each week.  If it is a post like our #mondaymotivation each Monday, then do it!  Come up with a topic that is relevant to your business and do it each week.  Consistency is key in Facebook marketing.

BONUS:

*If you are just getting started your first goal is to get 30 followers!  Once you get 30 followers Facebook unlocks your Page’s Insights! Insights shows the analytics behind your page.  Find out demographics of your followers, when to post, what posts are engaging the most and more!
