It’s great when people leave comments on your posts but do you know how to respond to them? Why should you respond? Responding to comments creates customer engagement and allows them to connect on a personal level with your company. It shows them you are listening to what they are saying and that you value them as a client. Let’s look at the two ways you can respond to customer comments.
Step 1: Log into your website and click on comments on the left side menu.
Step 2: Once you have opened the comments section, choose the comment you want to reply to. When you hover over the comment a sub menu will appear under the comment. Click Reply.
Step 3: A comment box will appear under the comment bar. This is where you will type in your reply to the comment.
Step 4: Once you are done adding your reply, click the button that says reply to post it to the comment.
Step 5: Refresh the page and then your comment will show up in the list as a reply.
Step 6: It is always good to verify that your reply posts correctly and to verify your work. Click view post to look and make sure your reply is there.
Step 7: Congratulations! Your reply is successfully posted.
Responding to comments is a great idea to connect with your clients. It also give you the ability to respond to negative comments in a professional manner. A lot of new customers will read comments left on a website before deciding on whether to work with them or not.
