Introducing the Beaver Builder Theme

Welcome back. Now we want to talk about another favorite theme of ours: Bever Builder.  I know the name is different but it honestly is a great theme. It is similar to the Divi theme but it’s also very different. So if you’re ready, let’s get to it.

What is Beaver Builder?

So when we say Beaver Builder, we mean a few different things. The first we will talk about now. The Beaver Builder theme. Like any WordPress website, you need a theme. While there are literally hundreds, if not thousands, to pick from we still recommend Beaver Builder. As a theme, it will give you the ability to change and customize the font type and size (typography), colors of the site, and the basic layout. It’s super quick and easy to do. This theme, unlike some others, has amazing support for any questions you may have. Since it’s so popular in the web design world, there is a great community and a Beaver Builder Facebook group that you can post questions and have others share what they learned.

So what else do we mean?

Beaver Builder is more than a theme. It comes with special plugins. We will get deeper into that next week but makes this theme different is that where Divi allows you to build the main part of the page in the theme, the Beaver Builder theme is mainly for the customizations to the settings that go across the whole website. While this theme is a drag and drop theme, it works best when you use two specific plugins: Beaver Builder plugin and Beaver Builder themer. I know you are curious but we will explain them more next week, along with a couple others that can really make your website rock.

With so many themes out there you should experiment and explore to find your own favorites. Divi and Beaver Builder are just a couple that we love, but by no means our only two. Make sure you get experience with different themes. Don’t limit yourself with just one or two. We know you are busy and it seems like extra work, but there really is a reason for it. If you are building your own site or if you hire someone to do it for you, having that knowledge will tell you exactly what you should be expecting. It can save you time and money in the long run.
